Strike threatens travel

Spain’s largest unions, UGT and CCOO, have called a 24-hour nationwide strike for Nov. 11 over the housing crisis, urging action on wages and labor protections. The U.S. Embassy advises travelers to check with transport operators, allow extra time and avoid demonstrations.
