British stuntman and actor Edward Sarsfield is suing August Street Films over an on-set gas explosion while filming Gladiator II in Morocco in 2023. He says the blast set his costume alight, causing burns to about 15% of his body and permanent scarring. The company admits liability for the accident but disputes the alleged injuries and has not agreed to his £200,000 damages claim.
