Melissa K. Pelc-Lohr, 50, was found shot dead at her home in Moira, New York, on Oct. 27; police say her ex-husband, Norman E. Lohr Jr., later shot himself in Lyons after a 200-mile chase. Her daughter, Allison Pelc, alleges Lohr raped her, took her underwear and other belongings, and violated protection orders multiple times. A Michigan court hearing over an alleged violation had been scheduled for Oct. 28, the day after Pelc-Lohr’s death.
