YouTuber to protest Liberty Biberty in Boston
A YouTuber plans to protest in Boston over Liberty Mutual’s new mascot, Liberty Biberty, which has garnered widespread online criticism and media attention. The furry, yellow puppet character has sparked backlash from internet users and critics, including comedian John Oliver, who publicly denounced it. The campaign, designed to complement existing ads featuring Liberty Mutual’s emu mascot, has faced negative reactions due to its design and perceived marketing overreach. The protest is scheduled for the weekend, with the organizer aiming for a peaceful gathering.
