Former coach alleges secret testosterone test result
A former San Jose State University volleyball coach alleges that school officials concealed a failed testosterone test of a transgender athlete during the 2023 season. The coach claims she was informed of the ineligibility shortly before a conference match and that the athlete's absence was allegedly justified by injury, which she believes was false. The coach is suing the university, citing violations of her rights and misconduct related to the athlete's eligibility and treatment within the program.
