Sam Franklin Jr. appeals NFL suspension over spitting

Buffalo Bills safety Sam Franklin Jr. is appealing a one-game suspension for an incident during last week’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The NFL imposed the suspension due to allegations of spitting, which Franklin denies, claiming he did not engage in any dirty play. The appeal process involves a panel of former players and coaches, and Franklin's suspension was set to begin immediately, covering the game against the Baltimore Ravens.
