Airbnb hosts restricted on chores for guests
Airbnb has updated its rules to limit what hosts can ask guests to do, particularly regarding cleaning chores like washing dishes and stripping beds, which guests are now generally not required to perform. The changes, effective from November, aim to make house rules clearer and more reasonable, aligning guest expectations with the payment of cleaning fees. Hosts can still set some rules and requests but must adhere to the new guidelines, with violations flagged for review.
