Convicted rapist released after 20 years
A convicted serial rapist and heir to the Max Factor fortune was released from California prison after serving approximately 20 years of a 124-year sentence for drugging and sexually assaulting three women. His release has sparked outrage from local officials, including the mayor of Glendora, who criticized the decision and expressed safety concerns about his proximity to community spaces. Critics argue the release undermines promises made to voters regarding public safety and raises questions about the state's parole process.
