L.A.'s infamous trash house overflows
A 72-year-old man, Raymond Gaon, has accumulated large stacks of trash outside his home in the Fairfax District, prompting concerns among neighbors and city officials. Despite a city cleanup and ongoing legal efforts, the trash has reappeared, causing frustration and raising issues related to public health and mental health conditions like hoarding. Authorities indicate a court may appoint a conservator to prevent future deterioration, while neighbors express both concern and compassion.
