Power outages halt football games to prevent wildfires
Due to strong Santa Ana winds and wildfire risks, several high school football games in Southern California have been rescheduled or canceled. A game initially set for Friday at Simi Valley High was moved to Saturday, and other matches, including a key game in Orange County, were canceled because of nearby fires and evacuations. Power outage warnings led schools to remain operational with emergency generators, and some games were moved to different times or locations to ensure safety.
