ASU Should Support Mayich and Injured Player
The article reports on the critical injury of college hockey player Matthew Mayich during a workout at Arizona State University, where he suffered exertional heat stroke and remains in critical condition. The university initially downplayed the incident, prompting criticism from Mayich’s family and players, who called for an independent investigation. Despite recent administrative changes and reviews, the family emphasizes the need for a thorough inquiry into what led to Mayich’s condition and the university’s response.
