ADL criticizes Wikipedia’s antisemitism safeguards
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has criticized Wikipedia for failing to adequately address coordinated efforts by a group of editors to introduce bias and antisemitic narratives related to Israel and Palestine. Despite bans and restrictions, the ADL reports that a significant portion of problematic edits remains on key articles, with some edits intentionally masking information about attacks and violations. The ADL urges the Wikimedia Foundation to implement stricter verification policies, and highlights concerns that Wikipedia's unreformed content undermines its reliability as a factual resource.
