San Jose parents face charges over asthmatic girl's death
The article reports the arrest of Gabrielle Hanson and Jacob Randolph, parents of an 8-year-old girl who died after an asthma attack in their unsanitary San Jose home. The child, identified as Aurora, was neglected for eight hours before receiving medical help, and her death was classified as a homicide caused by severe asthma and neglect. Authorities found the home filled with cockroaches, garbage, and mold, with prior reports of hazardous living conditions dating back to 2019. Hanson and Randolph have been charged with felony child neglect, while Aurora’s uncle faces charges of sexual abuse involving another child in the household.
