Paramount to reopen Bay Theater
Paramount Pictures has taken over the lease of the Bay Theater in Pacific Palisades, planning to reopen it later this year after it was closed following the 2025 Palisades fire. The theater will be upgraded with new projection systems and in-seat food and drink service, and will showcase first-run films from all studios. The reopening effort is part of a broader community recovery, with the theater operated by The Lot, a luxury dine-in chain, and signifies Los Angeles' resilience after the disaster.
