Anti-Israel groups advocate for one state
Pro-Palestinian activists and leaders across multiple cities, including Washington, D.C., openly advocate for a single, democratic, secular state called "Palestine" that would encompass current Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. They reject the two-state solution, emphasize the right of Palestinian refugees to return, and argue that Israel as a Jewish nation-state should cease to exist, portraying it as a racist and apartheid system. Their protests are organized within a broad infrastructure supported by socialist and communist groups, promoting the dismantling of Zionism and emphasizing the normalization of a one-state vision.
