Dem AG endorses parole for known criminals
Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford is running for governor amid controversy over his historic support for clemency for numerous violent offenders, including murderers involved in high-profile crimes. Ford, who has supported reducing sentences or granting pardons to more than 30 convicted killers over his tenure, faces criticism for his decisions, especially for those convicted of heinous crimes. His campaign contrasts his law enforcement efforts with his past clemency votes, which some critics say undermine his image as a public safety advocate.
