Woman claims public forced out of California forum over shirt
A Republican candidate for California’s 30th Assembly District was removed from a school board candidate forum after wearing a shirt advocating for girls’ sports and opposition to transgender participation. The event's organizers instructed her to cover the shirt, citing rules against political clothing, leading to the audience being asked to leave and the forum being canceled. The incident highlights ongoing debates over transgender athletes in girls’ sports and free speech issues at public events.
