Nithya Raman criticizes LA police chief
The article criticizes City Councilwoman Nithya Raman's campaign against Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell, accusing her of using inflammatory language and promoting policies that undermine law enforcement and public safety. It highlights Raman’s stance on defunding the police, her opposition to city bans on vagrant encampments, and her support for a sanctuary city approach that disregards illegal criminal activity. The piece portrays her campaign as juvenile and disconnected from reality, raising concerns about potential consequences for Los Angeles’ safety and fiscal stability.
