Loon Mountain proposes fourth peak
Loon Mountain ski resort in New Hampshire has submitted a proposal to develop a fourth peak, adding 280 acres of skiable terrain, including new trails, lifts, and lodges, as part of its expansion plan. The project, which still requires over a year of environmental review and approvals, aims to increase the resort's total ski area by 137 percent to nearly 955 acres by 2027-28. The expansion aligns with the resort's long-term growth strategy and was envisioned by its founder, Sherman Adams.
