Nobel in Chemistry for Kagan and Soai
Henri Kagan and Kenso Soai received the 2026 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their discovery of non-linear effects and autocatalysis in asymmetric organic synthesis, focusing on chiral molecules. The award was announced in Stockholm and recognizes their contributions to foundational chemistry, involving molecules that exist in mirror-image forms. The laureates will be honored at a ceremony in December, sharing a monetary prize and international recognition.
