Cornell 7 frat brother denies abuse claim
A student at Cornell University accused fraternity brothers, including Matthew Ingalls, of gang rape after an incident at the Chi Phi fraternity house involving alcohol and drugs. Ingalls claimed he was sodomized and a victim of gender discrimination during the investigation, while fraternity members attempted to control the narrative by labeling the event a "consensual orgy." Although no charges have been filed, internal disciplinary actions resulted in expulsion and suspension for some involved. The case continues to draw attention amid protests and renewed scrutiny of campus responses to sexual assault allegations.
