Jesse Marsch criticizes US before friendly
Jesse Marsch, now head coach of Canada's national soccer team, criticized the United States as being heavily influenced by propaganda and motivated by a sense of entitlement. He made these comments ahead of a friendly match against the U.S. in Minnesota, expressing a negative view of American culture and politics, including recent controversies like Lake Ontario's proposed name change. Despite being American by birth, Marsch is proud to coach Canada, but his remarks often highlight his critical perspective on the U.S. and its political climate.
