NFL Referees to contest suspensions
NFL has suspended referee Adrian Hill for one game following an incident involving Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson during a game. The suspension comes amid broader concerns over misconduct by officials, with the NFL referees union expressing that the penalties are excessive and advocating for a review of disciplinary standards. The incident involved Hill confronting Wilson after he appeared to be shoved into the official, which led to Hill yelling at the player and pointing to him to move away.
