Trump endorses firing squad for Fort Hood shooter
President Trump has approved the use of a firing squad to execute convicted terrorist Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter responsible for killing 13 people in 2009. The military plans to carry out the execution at a facility in Indiana, with the Secretary of the Army setting the date. Hasan, who was sentenced to death in 2013, would be the first service member executed by the U.S. armed forces since 1961.
