Trump to self-fund campaign ads
President Donald Trump announced he will fund his promotional ads with money raised for MAGA, Inc., instead of taxpayer funds, after facing criticism over a $10.1 million taxpayer-funded advertising campaign. The White House created at least 13 campaign-style ads promoting Trump and his policies, featuring patriotic imagery and positive reviews, with some already aired and others yet to be broadcast. watchdog groups criticized the ads as potentially violating laws restricting federal funding for propaganda, but Congress did not intervene before the midterm elections.
