California city halts weekend bus service
A bus driver was fatally shot by a male passenger during an altercation in Mar Vista, prompting Culver City to suspend its bus services for the weekend. The incident involved a dispute over a missed exit or wrong turn before the gunfire occurred, with the suspect, described as a man in his 40s, arrested afterward. The city announced the shutdown to honor the driver and support employees, while the investigation continues.
