Chris Brown dog attack case gets new trial
A Los Angeles judge has granted Chris Brown a new trial on nearly $13 million in damages awarded to a housekeeper injured during a dog attack at his Tarzana residence. The jury previously found Brown liable for the 2020 incident involving his Caucasian shepherd, which caused serious injuries to the housekeeper. The judge cited excessive damages and insufficient evidence to justify the original award, offering Brown's team the option to pursue a reduced amount or a new trial.
