State Department cancels 250,000+ visas
The U.S. State Department has revoked over 250,000 visas since President Trump took office, primarily due to violations such as criminal activity, support for terrorism, fraud, or endangering national security. Among these, 2,300 visas were revoked related to birth tourism, and recent actions include revoking visas of Latin American officials over corruption allegations. The administration also aims to revoke up to 200,000 visas held by individuals who sought asylum after entering on business or tourist visas.
