Trader Joe's Halloween tote bags draw long lines
Trader Joe's launched its Halloween-themed mini tote bags, called "Trick-or-Treat Mini Canvas Totes," on September 30, prompting long lines as shoppers rush to purchase the $2.99 bags. The bags became popular on social media and quickly appeared on resale markets at significantly higher prices, leading the company to file a lawsuit to prevent knockoff sales and protect customers.
