Hybrid Storm Sets for Multi-Day Rain
A sprawling "hybrid" storm is causing heavy rainfall, flooding, and severe weather across the central United States, from Arizona to Nebraska. The storm combines remnants of Hurricane Polo, moisture from Hurricane Odalys, and another system, leading to 2-4 inches of rain in many areas and posing a significant flood threat. Officials have reported road closures, evacuations, and rescue efforts, with forecasts predicting continued heavy rain and potential flash floods over several days.
