Netanyahu plans Hebron siege and West Bank closure

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered an immediate lockdown of Hebron and prepared a plan for a comprehensive closure of the West Bank following a shooting attack. These orders came after a security assessment meeting attended by military and security officials, aimed at confronting terrorism, suppressing Hamas members and their support networks, and intensifying arrest operations. The closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, coinciding with the Israeli elections.
