Netchayahu's West Bank policy actors

The article focused on the escalation by the Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, highlighting the policies and strategies of the key figures in the government that promote settlement expansion and increased security control over the West Bank. The article pointed out that Smotrich, Ben Gvir, and Katz are responsible for implementing policies that strengthen land annexation and settlement activities, while reducing the powers of security agencies to confront settler violence. It also reviewed current policies, such as the cancellation of administrative detention for settlers, increasing the arming of settlers, and the rising violence, which has led to a sharp increase in violence incidents since 2019. These policies come amid growing international criticism and increased support for establishing a Palestinian state, as the government’s term nears its end and elections are scheduled for October 27.
