The article addresses the recent escalation of military clashes between the Yemeni government forces supported by the Saudi-led coalition backing the legitimacy and the Houthi group in the city of Taiz. In recent hours, intense battles have taken place across multiple fronts. The Houthis attempted to seize control of Taiz, but government forces thwarted several attacks, resulting in the death of 98 Houthi fighters and injuring 148 others. Their operations also pushed the Houthis to withdraw as the government forces intensified their pressure. Additionally, Houthi shelling caused the death of 3 civilians and injured 9 more, including an ambulance targeted during an attack, along with the destruction of homes. Over 744 targeted operations against the Houthis were carried out within 24 hours, damaging or neutralizing 90 vehicles and armored units. There is a continuous increase in Houthi attacks on civilians and infrastructure, alongside a reciprocal escalation of attacks directed toward Saudi Arabia. Saudi forces intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis toward Riyadh.
