Britain sends jets to aid Saudi Arabia

The British Ministry of Defense announced that Royal Air Force Typhoon fighters will undertake the mission of protecting Saudi Arabia from Houthi attacks in Yemen by intercepting and shooting down missiles and drones launched by the Houthis, especially after they targeted Saudi airports and oil facilities. Operations include providing air support through refueling, transporting equipment, and deploying military advisors, as part of the Western allies' increased support for Saudi Arabia in the ongoing conflict with the Iran-backed Houthis. This comes amid a rise in Houthi operations, which have so far resulted in 19 deaths, most notably the missile strike on King Khalid Airport in Riyadh.
