Israeli Army Corruption Scandal in Gaza
Twenty-one individuals have been detained in Israel for questioning in a corruption case related to military infrastructure projects in the Gaza Strip. Among those detained are five non-commissioned military officers and civilian contractors. Investigations indicate that the suspects inflated construction reports, resulting in unjustified financial gains, with non-commissioned officers approving falsified data in exchange for bribes. There are also suspicions of theft of fuel and military equipment, which was allegedly used to operate machinery at project sites, with potential involvement in other crimes since the work began in the area. The accused are expected to appear before the judiciary within the next few hours to undergo appropriate legal procedures.
