Plane at Aden Airport hit by two Houthi missiles

The Aden International Airport was targeted on Friday evening by a missile attack launched by the Houthi militias. The attack hit the airport premises while a plane, which was scheduled to carry passengers, was preparing for takeoff. According to official sources, there were no casualties as a result of the attack. Authorities have emphasized that repeated targeting of the airport poses a serious threat to civilian safety and air traffic movement, especially since the airport is a vital point for transporting Yemeni patients and travelers abroad. The Yemeni Minister of Information explained that the two missiles landed 500 meters away from the aircraft and from the end of the runway, highlighting that this assault endangers passengers' lives and aviation safety. He also noted that such actions violate international laws and reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to protecting its institutions and facilities, with support from the Saudi-led Coalition Supporting Legitimacy.
