Trump fires White House spokesperson
The New York Times reported that Katie Zakaria resigned from her position as White House spokesperson just five days after taking office. President Trump asked Zakaria to reconsider her role, indicating that it was not suitable for her, reflecting his loss of confidence following a shaky performance and weak presence during press conferences. Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the media's treatment of her and deemed the role incompatible with her capabilities, suggesting that her brief tenure in the administration was nearing its end.
