Egypt Petroleum Ministry updates fuel prices

The Automatic Pricing Committee for Petroleum Products in Egypt has decided to keep fuel prices unchanged during the last quarter of 2026, following a review of exchange rate developments, the price of Brent crude oil per barrel, and relevant international and local developments. These decisions come after the committee's return to assess the factors influencing the pricing of petroleum products, taking into account previous pricing measures and global changes. The committee based its decision on a pricing equation that includes economic factors and global demand. The decisions did not include any changes to current fuel prices, amid market stability and the dispelling of rumors regarding a shortage of propane cylinders.
