Katy Zakaria’s Career Scrutiny
The article addressed a controversy surrounding Katie Zakaria's background, the White House spokesperson, and the legality of her credentials, particularly regarding her claim to practicing law in California. While President Trump introduced her as a lawyer, Zakaria has not passed the California Bar Examination, despite her stating that she practiced international law after graduating from Pepperdine University in 2011. These assertions have sparked criticism and accusations from accountability advocates, who called for an investigation into her claim of practicing law without a license, which is considered a crime in California. The White House responded forcefully, dismissing the allegations as a political campaign by an opposition party that is not to be taken seriously.
