Musk Suggests Washington May Block Ukraine Drones
Businessman Elon Musk indicated that the U.S. government may be behind imposing speed restrictions on some Ukrainian weapons via his company's Starlink service, operated by SpaceX. The speed of drones was limited to 160 kilometers per hour, which hindered Kyiv's operational capabilities on the battlefield. Ukraine considered these restrictions related to recent tensions with Washington, while the U.S. government did not issue an official statement. Musk clarified that Starlink is designated for civilian and defensive activities and is not permitted for use in military attacks.
