Palestinian Medics Report Attack on Beita Olive Harvesters

The West Bank and Jerusalem have experienced a widespread Israeli escalation, with settlers burning a mosque and a vehicle in the village of Makhmas near Ramallah. The olive harvesting season has also seen repeated assaults on farmers, including injuring a child and a resident with wounds and bruises, as well as attempts by settlers to prevent olive picking and steal the fruits. Additionally, Israeli forces launched tear gas canisters at farmers in Jenin. Settlers also bulldozed lands to establish new settlement outposts, and occupation forces demolished a house in the village of Azzouya. On the security front, occupation forces carried out extensive arrest campaigns and searches across various areas, including the detention of several individuals and the destruction of homes in Nablus, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Hebron, and Jerusalem, as part of an Israeli escalation involving attacks on Palestinians, land confiscations, and a doubling of arrests.
