King of Spain affirms Ceuta and Melilla are inseparable

During his historic visit to the cities of Ceuta and Melilla, the King of Spain, Felipe VI, reaffirmed that they are an integral part of Spain. He emphasized that the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity are non-negotiable, despite Morocco's claims of sovereignty over these territories. The visit comes amid increased tensions following the surge of illegal migrants into Ceuta in July, with some migrants remaining in the city, raising concerns among residents and challenging the government's stance. Additionally, the visit is accompanied by messages from the Spanish government highlighting the importance of maintaining good neighborly relations with Morocco, despite the challenges posed by migration issues and disputes over sovereignty.
