Saudi Arabia plans to escalate vs Houthis

Reports have circulated about a Saudi escalation against the Houthis in Yemen, as Saudi airstrikes targeted important military and economic facilities in Sana'a and other regions. This comes in response to Houthis' attacks that targeted sites within the kingdom, including airports and civilian targets, resulting in the death of 20 people and hundreds of injuries since October. The Houthis have also threatened to respond to the targeting of Sana'a. Additionally, the oil company in Sana'a was hit by strikes, accompanied by warnings from the Houthis not to disturb the peace. Saudi Arabia continues to target Houthi sites to weaken their military and economic infrastructure, with expectations of ongoing escalation and preparations for possible Houthi responses.
