US Temporarily Suspends Activities After Saudi Airport Attack
The United States strongly condemned the attacks carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi group in Yemen against King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in the death of 12 people and injuries to 309 others, including an American citizen. It affirmed that this attack constitutes a terrorist act and an act of war, demonstrating a blatant disregard for civilian lives, and called for an immediate halt to these attacks. The Houthi group claimed to have used cruise and ballistic missiles to disrupt air traffic, while Saudi Arabia continues to comment on the devastating outcomes of this attack.
