UAE aids water projects in Gaza

Within Operation "Knight's Valor 3," the UAE launched several projects to improve water supplies in Gaza, aimed at addressing the water scarcity crisis threatening the lives of two million Palestinians. The initiatives included the construction of six desalination plants, the laying of extensive water pipelines to pump water from these plants to southern areas of the sector such as Rafah and Khan Younis, providing approximately five million liters of water daily to around 700,000 people. Additionally, 121 wells were drilled, along with the provision of 37 tankers and 20,000 gallons of water to support resource distribution and enhance access for families. These efforts reflect the UAE's ongoing commitment to meeting basic needs and supporting the continuity of vital services in Gaza.
