China harvests 35% of autumn grain

Thirty-five percent of the autumn grain harvest has been completed in China, with significant progress made in the southwestern regions where the harvest rate is about 70%. In areas along the Yangtze River, the progress is approximately 50%, more than 40% in the Yellow River basin and northwestern parts of the country, and 10% in the northeastern region. Production is expected to be abundant if no natural disasters occur, with maize planting continuing to grow and forecasts indicating a plentiful harvest. China is one of the largest grain producers, with an annual purchase volume exceeding 400 million tons, and it is anticipated that the purchase levels will remain high over the next five-year period.
