Senator Murphy: Pentagon barred entry to Qatar base

It was reported that U.S. Senator Chris Murphy was denied entry to Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar during a visit to the Middle East, considering this part of the government's efforts to hide the costs and repercussions of the Iran war. He stated that the Pentagon refused to hold an briefing session for him regarding the war, while Secretary of State Marco Rubio facilitated his visit and coordinated meetings with Gulf officials, reflecting a deliberate effort to conceal the outcomes of the wars and American military actions in the region.
