Giants Brigades advance near Zubair

The Yemeni forces, led by the Giants and the Homeland Shield Brigades, continue their advance around the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, engaging in fierce battles with the Houthi group in the Zubab area with the aim of regaining control and cutting off Houthi supply lines. This is supported by air cover as part of a military operation launched by the Yemeni government to reclaim areas controlled by the Houthis. The operations have resulted in the death of 1,747 Houthis and the destruction of 364 vehicles and combat equipment. Meanwhile, Yemeni forces have carried out more than 1,122 targeting operations against Houthi sites in the provinces of Saada, Al-Jawf, Taiz, and the coasts, utilizing aircraft, artillery, and missiles. This military escalation reflects a deteriorating situation following a period of relative calm since the truce agreement of 2022.
