Sabalenka Out in Third Round at Beijing
Arena Sabalenka, ranked No. 2 in the world, was early eliminated from the Beijing Open after losing to Czech player Nikola Bartunkova with scores of 4-6 and 3-6 in the third round. Sabalenka failed to capitalize on five break points and experienced a moment of frustration that led her to throw her racket, signaling her early exit from the tournament. This defeat marks a continuation of her disappointing results this year, as she also lost to Elena Rybakina in the second round. Consequently, surprises are increasing at the Beijing tournaments, with many top-ranked players exiting early, while the battle for qualification to the finals continues.
