British nationals charged with terror plot against Jewish community
The British police have charged two men, Rahman Salehi and Salam Ahmadyan, with two counts related to preparatory acts for a terrorist operation targeting the Jewish community in northern England, coinciding with the anniversary of an attack on a synagogue in Manchester that resulted in fatalities. Investigations indicate they were in contact with a third party outside the country, possibly in Iran, regarding the plan. The charges will be presented before Westminster Court, and the government affirms that investigations are ongoing to protect the United Kingdom from terrorist threats.
